Rest in Peace
Very tragic circumstances changed the nature of this event. Ray Smith, lead singer of Tear Gas Union was killed in a motorcycle accident on July 15. The show went on as scheduled, with lineup changes that included Buzzard Canyon and Enemy of Reason, and all the bands played their souls out in tribute to Ray.
It was a great night simply due to the number of supporters that came out to pay respects the way he would have expected, through music.
Rest in peace Ray, we will miss you.
